It has been a busy few months and we are taking lots of steps forward. Last month the Board approved the creation of new roles to join the team working here at Ngā Pōtiki.
We have new roles in Housing, Education & Skills, Communications, Finance and Executive and Governance Administration which we are going out to recruit shortly.
We are looking for ‘super doers’ who are passionate about Ngā Pōtiki and working to benefit the current and future generations of Ngā Pōtiki. If you or someone in your whānau are interestesd in these opportunities please keep an eye out for the adverts and apply. All the information will be up on SEEK.co.nz later this week.
If members of your whānau have not updated their details recently now is the right time to do it. We will be sending out information for our upcoming Annual General Meeting soon as well as emailing out the links for the employment opportunities, so please encourage your whānau to register or update their details.

It is often not talked about but many of our whānau have been touched by the devastating effects of suicide. Recent stories in the media have painted a bleak picture for Māori.
We all know we need more initiatives and services based on te ao Māori but we also want to encourage whānau to access existing services.
